Outdoor Wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company

The flowers were in bloom, the grapes were growing on the vines, and the conditions were perfect for Brittany and Dustyn’s outdoor wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company in Catawba Island, Ohio.

The historic Gideon Owen Wine Company is one of my favorite Northwest Ohio wedding venues. There are so many thoughtful details which pay homage to its historic roots, and it also has a clean, modern aesthetic in its indoor reception space.

The gorgeous stone wine cellar hosts many lovely weddings at the venue. But, when weather permits, I absolutely LOVE a moment for an outdoor wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company! The grounds are immaculate, with perennial florals adorning the landscape. Everywhere you look, there is natural beauty surrounding the architecture, the water feature, and the open grass. The garden is the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding … and for breathtaking wedding photos. 🥰

Together with Brittany and Dustyn, we took advantage of the natural beauty surrounding them on their wedding day. Their First Look prior to the ceremony calmed pre-wedding nerves. The cellar doors were a lovely backdrop for portraits. The sidewalk lined with tall hollyhocks created a whimsical path, and the vineyard provided an ever-so romantic setting for photos at sunset.

Brittany and Dustyn were the sweetest, most laid back couple. Together with April Gladieux from Your Perfect Day, they brought their wedding vision to life in a memorable way for their outdoor wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company.
