Lindi and Jimmy’s Lake Erie Wedding at Maumee Bay State Park, Ohio

They had waited a long time for this. Their day was finally here.  

Lindi and Jimmy had each been seeking “the one” who would be their life partner – and they took their time to ensure it was a right choice. Most certainly, they have found that partner in each other. So, on what was the hottest day of the summer thus far, they exchanged vows in front of a small gathering of friends and family. The couple’s intention was to keep the celebration intimate – to focus on their love for one another and to be surrounded by those they hold most dear.  

“Family” is certainly an element of importance to each of them, and that sentiment was kept at the forefront of their special day. Coming from a large family, the bridal suite was full with the bride’s sisters and their families to help her prepare. The couple invited both sides of their family to share in a unity sand ceremony, and the bride’s brother, Micah, served as officiant (and videographer!) Inevitably, the memory of the bride’s mother who passed away a few years ago following an illness was on the hearts and minds of the guests, and the couple most certainly acknowledged her heavenly presence throughout the day. There is no doubt she was smiling down. Having known the bride’s family for many years, it was wonderful to witness this testimony of love.

Lindi and Jimmy, I wish you both immeasurable happiness in your life’s journey together. May you continue to be blessed by love and family in all your days to come!
