Wedding at Shady Brook Acres Hitching Post

Abbianne and Brent love the outdoors. They love exploring new places, being in nature, and walking their rescue dog, Cheyenne. It seemed only natural to them to host their wedding outdoors at Shady Brook Acres Hitching Post in Napoleon, Ohio.

Abbi and Brent were introduced at a race in downtown Perrysburg, Ohio. While Abbi and her father were running a race, Brent was volunteering with Abbi’s mom. The couple credit her mom for initially introducing them … which is pretty special! The two have been inseparable since!

On a trip to St. Louis and the Ozark National Forest in April 21, Abbi and Brent were backpacking and hiking in the Ozarks. After trekking 13 miles to the highest peak, he pulled out an engagement ring to propose! Naturally, she said “yes!”. The next day, they hiked back and celebrated with margaritas and tacos!

Abbi and Brent’s wedding day was beautiful. A sunny glow could be seen all day long on that late spring day, and it popped out to show its magic for sunset photos after their wedding at Shady Brook Acres Hitching Post. The wedding decor was sprinkled with hues of lavender, and the beautiful blue water sparkled during their wedding vows. At the reception, the barn was bright and cheerful with light reflecting off the white walls.

Weddings are such joyful celebrations of love and family, and I loved that Abbi’s family worked together to make her vision come to life. What a glorious day!
