An unexpected love brought healing to their hearts and connection as a family. Blessings were abundant at Brianne and Brock’s Great Smoky Mountains Wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
An unimaginable loss left Bri navigating a new normal. She was mourning the loss of her spouse, and Brock was mourning the loss of his best friend. As they took things day by day, Brock had been a constant source of support for Bri and her two little girls. They had known one another throughout their youth and into adulthood, and he was there for her as a friend when she needed him most.
Over time, Bri and Brock’s friendship blossomed into something more. Recognizing their unique opportunity to find love in each other, they embraced the reality that they were meant to join their lives. Brock selected a STUNNING ring and proposed to Bri in the presence of her daughters.
Family means everything to Bri and Brock, and they wanted to celebrate their love among their closest relatives. The Great Smoky Mountains provided a breathtaking landscape, and it also provided a place where all their family could stay together and celebrate over a long holiday weekend.

Their wedding venue, Greystone Pointe Lodge, sits atop the Smoky Mountains high above Gatlinburg with absolutely amazing views. It is a custom cabin with fifteen bedrooms, two levels with large gathering rooms, a theater room, and a game room … so there was plenty to occupy both sides of their ENTIRE family for the whole weekend! The team from Say Yes With Jess Weddings transformed the upper level from ceremony space to banquet room, while guests were directed to the lower level for dancing and festivities into the evening!
It was truly an honor to witness the marriage of Bri and Brock. Not only is the love that they have for one another obvious, but it is clear that there is a mutual love and respect between Brock and her girls. There were lots of happy tears shed, and the promise for a happy, loving future is ahead.
