Summer Wedding in Rural Oak Harbor, Ohio

A mere 364 days after their original wedding date, Tori and Trenton took their vows of marriage at their summer wedding in rural Oak Harbor, Ohio!
They – like so many couples – will go down in the books as having to have postponed their special event due to a pandemic. While waiting to walk down the aisle wasn’t ideal, they decided to have their wedding one day shy of a year later in the hopes of having a large celebration with their many family and friends! And THAT they DID!
Tori’s sister, who was also her maid of honor, told their love story best – to the tune of a Taylor Swift song – at their wedding reception. Their story has been one more than six years in the making. The couple fell in love after meeting one another at a party. Although the two were apart while Trent was serving in the Armed Forces, their love story continued. They welcomed their beautiful little girl a couple years later – a perfect mix of the two of them – and they never looked back.
Shortly before getting dressed, Tori and Trent’s daughter got to try on her mommy’s wedding gown – a tradition they hope to continue annually. (I can already picture the photos while she is growing up!). There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Tori had a First Look with her dad.
Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen arrived at the venue to prepare for their outdoor ceremony … in the HOT summer sun! Trent was looking dapper in his suit which adorned a lapel pin bearing a photo of his very special late grandparents. I know they were smiling down on them for the special occasion. 💗💙
It was time for the ceremony, but their little one was not interested in being the center of attention coming down the aisle. It’s okay – because the couple had quite the surprise for their guests. A FLOWER MAN! Oh yes … Trent’s buddy walked down the aisle with a fanny pack full of flower petals and treated the guests to quite a few laughs! ☺️The groom followed confidently down the aisle to the intro to Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z’s song “Suit & Tie”, but he could not help but become overwhelmed with emotion when he saw his bride, Tori, in her wedding gown.
After formal portraits at their summer wedding in rural Oak Harbor, Ohio, the couple joined their guests ready to party at the reception. The drinks were flowing, and the music was bumping! THAT was a way to celebrate after a long awaited year!
Tori and Trent, I hope you look back upon these photos to bring back memories of a day that went by all too quickly, but a day filled with so much love! Wishing you every happiness!
