Rosary Cathedral Wedding in Downtown Toledo
Abigail & Kurtis
June 25, 2022
They love their city, and it was their goal to capture the beauty of area landmarks on the day of their Rosary Cathedral Wedding in Downtown Toledo, Ohio.
Abby and Kurtis met through mutual friends at a party. He asked for her number, and they went out on a date a week later. Since then, they have enjoyed spending time together working out, going on walks and bike rides, doing puzzles, and watching shows.
It didn’t take long for Abby and Kurtis to recognize that they shared a special connection. As love blossomed, they knew they wanted to share their lives together. One evening, Abby’s roommates took her out to dinner while another friend and Kurtis prepared for his proposal at a local nature preserve. Abby’s friends were in on the plan and encouraged a walk after dinner. As they continued on the boardwalk, Abby was led to a path of rose petals and candles where Kurtis was waiting on bended knee. Abby was completely surprised, and said “YES!”
It was a hot summer day when the couple said, “I do.” The wedding decor was infused with beautiful shades of dusty blue – my favorite! – from the invitations to the shoes, and perfectly coordinated with the groomsmen’s blue tuxedos. 💙 Fresh florals from Gardenview Flowers tied everything together with sophisticated style.
Abby & Kurtis feel very connected to their city, and it was important to them to have unique photos at various spots on the day of their Rosary Cathedral Wedding in Downtown, Toledo, Ohio. From getting ready in her historic apartment building in the city, to the grounds of the breathtaking Rosary Cathedral, local parks, and the Toledo Museum of Art, photo ops were lovely! They allowed plenty of time between their ceremony and reception to explore around the city with the wedding party.
It was a beautiful celebration of two beautiful souls. Many congratulations to the newlyweds, Abby and Kurtis!
