Haley and Jake’s Wedding at Shady Brook Acres

They have known one another since middle school. Their love story came full circle at Haley and Jake’s wedding at Shady Brook Acres Hitching Post in Napoleon, Ohio.

Haley and Jacob connected at a small town Homecoming Festival in 2016. While dating, they had supported one another through their education and the start of their careers. They share a love of animals, the outdoors, and endless laughs … both appreciating good humor. 🙂 Eventually, Jake would propose in their back yard, and they would begin planning their dream wedding at Shady Brook Acres Hitching Post!

Having an outdoor wedding fit their interests and their vision for their special day. Shady Brook Acres was the perfect venue choice situated in the country among wooded acreage and a beautiful pond. The modern barn was filled with light and wide open for dancing at the big celebration!

An outdoor wedding always has potential for risk. After all, the couple did not have control over the weather. Although the skies were cloudy on that hot summer morning, the couple was hopeful that the nearby rain storms would bypass their venue. However, this was not the case, and the rain downpoured as the bride and groom finished their First Look. Haley held onto hope that the rain would stop and that they could continue their ceremony outdoors. As it turns out, her dream came true! The skies cleared, the temperatures cooled, and their dreamy outdoor ceremony took place in front of their closest family and friends!

Having known the family, I was glad to enjoy this celebration later into the evening with my hubby. It was a fun night that I know they will remember forever. Many congratulations to the newlyweds!
