Outdoor Wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company

Allyson and Sean met year ago at Miami University of Ohio. They solidified their “Miami Merger” on a beautiful fall day during their outdoor wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company.

At Miami University, nearly 13% of alumni are part of a “Miami Merger” … two Miami graduates who end up getting married. Allyson and Sean have now joined the ranks with other Redhawks!

The day started off on a high note … literally, with all the ladies laughing, dancing, and singing happily in the bridal suite. Ally will tell you it was basically an extension of her ever-so-fun and memorable bachelorette party!

The day was filled with sweet moments … and a few surprises. Allyson’s little sister, Jillian, helped her prepare for her wedding vows. Her maids of honor, presented her with thoughtful gifts, as did her parents who gave her a beautiful bracelet that her granny started to create when she was a baby. Needless to say … the tears were flowing! The bride also remembers lining up for the processional when her sister Carolyne turned around towards her and giggled, “ew, I’m going to cry, I’m so excited!”

There were surprises for Sean, too. The ladies looked on from a single window inside the bridal suite while the groom had a shockingly unexpected First Look with his groomsmen. 😆 He also was “Iced” with a drink when he took off the garter belt.

Allyson and Sean’s outdoor wedding at Gideon Owen Wine Company was the perfect day because it was surrounded by the beautiful people they love. Well wishes and smiles were abundant. But this is truly only the beginning. 💙
