Fall Wedding at Shady Brook Acres in Napoleon

Living in the midwest, there are distinct characteristics with each season of the year. The love and seasonal vibes were strong for Kristen and Jon’s fall wedding at Shady Brook Acres in Napoleon!

Kristen and Jon’s union was the result of a successful connection through online dating. Their first date was at a cider mill, and thereafter, the couple was inseparable. Kristen, a Michigander, had fallen in love with a guy from Ohio. With the loving support of their friends and family, Jon and Kristen returned to the cider mill another time where he proposed … and she said “yes”!

Kristen and Jon recruited the creative team from Elite Events to bring her wedding vision to life. The decor was inspired by the vibrant colors of the fall season. The tables were adorned with items inspired by nature, including raw wooden risers, florals and magnolia leaves from Gardenview Flowers, and amber bud vases which glowed in the candlelight.

The skies were clear, the air was crisp, and the outdoor ceremony was beautiful beneath the open pavilion during their fall wedding at Shady Brook Acres in Napoleon, Ohio. There were even a couple of family pets who witnessed the ceremony, including their pup, Zazu. ❤️ The couple was blessed with a magnificent golden sunset just before the dance floor opened for the celebration! In a special family tradition, Kristen and Jon cut and served their cake using the same set that has been used for generations.
