Rustic Fall Wedding at Meadowbrook Ballroom

With fall inspired decor and a huge gathering of friends, it was a celebration of love at their rustic fall wedding at Meadowbrook Ballroom.

Corinne and David met in college through mutual friends at The University of Toledo. After a couple of years of dating, they were in the midst of an already eventful weekend. They had just celebrated Corinne achieving her masters degree in speech-language pathology. The next day, they went on an outing for coffee and visited the Toledo Museum of Art. After browsing for a few minutes, David led Corinne outside and prompted her to turn around while he took a picture of her “looking at the sculpture.” This is when Corinne knew he was proposing. David told Corinne to turn around, and he was down on one knee with a beautiful ring asking her to marry him. The happy couple then drove to her parents house where she was surprised by family and friends ready to celebrate their engagement!

The wedding was planned with thoughtful personal touches by the bride, groom, and their families. Corinne wore a cathedral length veil originally worn by her mother on her wedding day. The groom handcrafted a wooden ring box engraved with their names and wedding date. Their grandmothers collectively wore special pins as the bride’s “something blue”. The wooden florals were hand-stained by family members in custom colors inspired by fall leaves, including rust, terracota, euchalyptus, orange, and red.

With a guest list of nearly 400, Corinne and David’s friends and family surely filled the room with a fun and loving energy as they celebrated their rustic fall wedding at Meadowbrook Ballroom.
